Specialist in sexology and psychiatry, psychotherapist. He specializes in helping transgender and gender diverse people experiencing gender non-conformity. Additionally, his area of clinical interest includes problems of homosexual and bisexual people. He learned about transgender health care at the Nottingham Center for Transgender Health and the Center for Sexology and Gender at Ghent University Hospital. He is a graduate trainer and associate with Pink Therapy in London. Head of the Laboratory of Sexology at the Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, Jagiellonian University CM. Vice President of the Polish Sexological Society (PTS), the only certified member of WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health) in Poland and one of several certified members of the European Committee for Sexual Medicine (FECSM). Author and co-author of dozens of scientific publications. He co-edited the first monograph on LGB psychology in Poland, titled. 'Introduction to LGB Psychology' and a compendium for practitioners, titled. 'Dysfunction and Gender Nonconformity'. He is a co-author of the first Recommendations for the health care of transgender people in Poland, adopted by the PTS. He edited a psycho-educational manual for patients, their relatives and families, titled. 'Health of transgender and non-binary people'. Actively involved in trainings, workshops and symposia at home and abroad.
